Contrary to economist's projections in January, here's the year-over-year summary: Detached homes up 6%, Semi-Detached (half-duplexes) up 6%, Row/Townhomes up 11% with some areas as much as 20%, Apartment Condos up 12%. When will it end? It ends when Vancouver and Toronto residents stop moving here and investing here. No one really knows because clearly interest rates are having no effect on speculation.
